- Grace Community Church of Quarryville’s Contemporary Worship Service starts at 10:30 am and lasts approximately 75 minutes. GCC Children’s Ministry for kids from infants to grade 5 is offered during the 10:30 service.
What should I do when I arrive?
If you decide to attend our Traditional Worship Service, ideally everyone is seated 5 minutes prior to the Service. Our Fellowship Time after the Traditional Service provides time for refreshment and fellowship among all attendees.
Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. You may enter from the carport entrance to use the church upper level for the sanctuary or adult educational wing access or park in the parking lot and use our elevator to access all levels.
What type of worship do you offer?
Memorial’s 8:30 am Traditional Service offers familiar hymns, with organ and piano accompaniment. Our fellowship of believers share praises and prayers with one another and lift each other up during a time of prayer in the service. Pastor Dave and other visiting Pastors share God’s Word through solid Biblical Teaching.
Grace Community Church of Quarryville’s 10:30 am Contemporary Worship Service features contemporary music led by a band and worship team. The song choices range from classic hymns to the newest music. In all of our services, there are times of prayer and reflection as well as the reading and study of God’s Word. Pastor Josh Marcroft and other teaching pastors preach from the Bible or a topic from the Bible, teaching God’s truth verse-by-verse.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. Some people dress up while others dress casual. We invite you to wear what you feel comfortable wearing.
Do you offer Sunday School?
Memorial currently does not offer Sunday School classes. For Adult Groups, each small group determines an agreeable schedule and can meet anytime on Sunday or during the week. High School Ministry takes place on Wednesday nights at 7 pm during the school year. GCCQ’s 10:30am service offers Children’s Ministry for kids from infants to grade 5 and runs the entire service. The GCCQ Children’s Ministry is a safe and fun environment for little ones to learn more about Jesus through learning Scripture, singing, games, and more!
Why is the High School Ministry only on Wednesday nights?
With our current leadership capabilities, we can spend more quality time with our High School age students on Wednesday nights between 7 – 9 pm. We encourage our high school students to help with the younger students or participate in the Sunday worship service, such as helping with the audio-video teams.
